Jiva Leggings Review

I found Jive Leggings on Instagram @thejivashop and had to try them because of the unique patterns, and I secretly hoped that I'd be able to invert like all of the other yogi's. The comments about being fast drying for hot yoga and SUP, super comfortable and long in length attracted me to her brand. She also has more than 7,500 followers, she's doing something right!!
I found Jiva through networking with the owner of Palm Beach Athletic Wear and asked her what her favorite new leggings brand is and she suggested Jiva Leggings. The creator of these amazing leggings is the sweetest girl named, Nikki, who's also a yogi. She only started the business in early 2014 and sells out of every design! She sources and makes the leggings in the US, in fact she started sewing them herself. I admire her passion for design and the way she's connected with her yogi IG followers. She is a small business, e-commerce entrepreneur at her finest. I hope too see her brand explode which I think it will because she's getting some big features in 2015! For those of you starting your own brand in the yoga market Nikki recommended attending a Yoga Journal Live event in person. She said that she signed up so many wholesale accounts and met wonderful yogi's from around the US. She inspired me to sign up for the New York event.
Nikki also makes Little leggings and they are cutest things! My 4 year old who is a size 4T loves them and will be able to wear them for a long time. She wears them to dance, school, gymnastics, pretty much anywhere. You can email and request a matching pair.
I purchased a medium and I'm a size 6/8, I think they run true to size. $65's a pair, which is the lowest price for quality, fast drying leggings.
The leggings are long and I love it because they wrap around my heels, but if you don't you can simply trim them off because she doesn't have a hem at the ankle. There are other leggings out there that are finished on the ankles and sometimes they are too tight...or maybe I have ankles like Hilary Clinton:) I really love the waist band because it rides higher than others, I have an hour glass figure so when leggings are low-rise I end up with a muffin top in hot yoga, and thats just uncomfortable.
They are fast drying, comfortable and stay in place while in yoga. I spray Saucha on them after class and they smell and feel as a daisy so I can wear them for hours after practicing. If you're going to purchase them be sure to use the code "sweatinstyle14" for 10% off.
